and from the last week of May

First, sun kisses.  In the backyard.

Second, a thumb!  Until yesterday no one had seen her hold it in her mouth successfully.  Keep it up, E!

We celebrated our family's first Mothers Day by taking Eleanor to the Sunday market.

We found a shady spot where Eleanor was intent on watching the water -- and on watching all the older kids roam around, exploring the edge of the lake.
